# Google Maps rankings API for AI agents

> Check where a business ranks in Google Maps and the local pack for a keyword and city, with ratings and review counts, through MCP.

`check_google_maps_rankings` on the [Local SEO MCP](https://docs.crakseo.com/mcp-servers/local-seo.md) (also on the [Google SERP API MCP](https://docs.crakseo.com/mcp-servers/serp-api.md) and the [SEO MCP](https://docs.crakseo.com/mcp-servers/seo.md)) returns Google Maps results for a keyword and location, and where a given business appears.

Values are placeholders. `location` is a city name in the supplier's format, for example `Austin,Texas,United States`. Local results vary by city, so keep the same location between checks. For one business's rating, review count and profile details, use `get_google_business_profile` on the [Local SEO MCP](https://docs.crakseo.com/mcp-servers/local-seo.md).
