# Distribution

The **distribution agent** (**More tools > External sites**, `/app/publish/external`) ranks your pages and drafts placements on external channels: Pinterest, Tumblr, Feedspot, Flipboard and sources you import from a feed or CSV.

1. The agent drafts placements every 6 hours.
2. You approve drafts, or enable capped autopilot per channel.
3. Approved placements are scheduled and published once each.
4. Placements are re-verified every 6 hours by checking the live page.

Channel modes are **training**, **manual** and **capped autopilot**. Channels have their own rules (for example Flipboard allows at most 2 items per day and Pinterest boards must be at least 30 days old with 10 pins). Each channel gets a public RSS feed for publisher programs that read feeds.
