> ## Agent Instructions
> For SEO data and indexing, start with /seo-mcp/overview.md and /seo-mcp/connect.md, then read the focused server reference.
> The documentation search MCP at https://docs.crakseo.com/mcp searches documentation only. Product tools use https://crakseo.com/mcp/<server>.
> Check tool availability and API credit balance before paid calls. Request owner approval for paid indexing. Never invent prices, indexing guarantees or directory approval.

# Workflows

> Versioned, scheduled automation graphs.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Available on legacy plans. New workspaces don't include agents; workspaces created before the CrakSEO launch keep them.

**Workflows** (`/app/workflows`) chain steps into an acyclic graph. Build them in the visual editor, the form editor, or draft one with AI. Runs are listed at `/app/runs`.

## Step kinds

| Step | Purpose |
| - | - |
| `agent_goal`, `browser_task` | Dispatch an instruction to an agent's fleet browsers |
| `data_read`, `data_write` | Read or write a built-in data table |
| `connector_tool` | Call a granted connector or remote MCP tool |
| `condition`, `join` | Branch and merge |
| `map` | Run child steps for each item (up to 20 items, 20 at once) |
| `delay` | Wait (up to one year) |
| `approval` | Wait for your approval (60 seconds to 30 days) |
| `notification` | Write to the run history |

## Versions and schedules

* Drafts never run. **Publish** creates an immutable version; each run pins its version and its browser targets when it starts.
* Schedules: once, daily, weekdays, weekly, monthly or cron, with an explicit timezone, an overlap policy and a missed-run policy.
* Graphs hold up to 100 steps and 400 edges.

## Safety

Only the workspace owner can save, publish, start or approve. A step left with an unknown outcome puts the run into **needs reconciliation**; writes are never replayed automatically. Cancelling stops subsequent steps, but external actions already submitted can still finish.
